About

Founded in 2021, Teasel Productions are about to make a brand new show, in Hertfordshire for Hertfordshire audiences.

We're a group of Hertfordshire creatives, Nicola Pollard, Kate Miller and Nancy Surman, working in collaboration with Hertfordshire Libraries to create this new, interactive piece of theatre for families. Book Sleuths in a Bind: A Very Puzzling Case  will be entertaining, engaging and fun for all the family!

Our two intrepid Book Sleuths have a mysterious disappearance on their hands, and they need all the help they can get to solve this curious case. Help Sam and Ally crack codes, pore over puzzles and unravel riddles before time runs out!

Come along with your family and friends to help our Sleuths find out whodunnit! Our show is designed for children aged between
7 and 11, but anyone of any age is welcome. (All children must be accompanied by an adult.)

Where are we going?

All of our tour is taking places at libraries in Hertfordshire during October half-term. Have a look at the schedule below to see where we're going.

Tickets can be booked through the Hertfordshire Libraries' website. Please contact the relevant library with any questions about your visit.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Both shows on Monday 25th have BSL Interpretation.

Certain performances are followed by a chance to put your questions to our Sleuths:
Welwyn Garden City, St Albans (Monday 25th), Royston, Hatfield, Harpenden, Cheshunt
and both performances at Stevenage.

Show running time is approximately 45 minutes.

Tickets are £7 for adults and £5 for children.

If you have any questions about the content of the show, please get in touch.

Just to say...

This production has been made possible by Arts Council England and their Project Grants funding. Thank you!

Thank you also to Auria Accountancy Hertfordshire who have generously donated to the project.
